PARGE® allows to ray trace to surfaces even if the sensor was side looking up to horizontal view.
Arctic Data Analysis
The use case was a data acquisition by GEUS Denmark using the Hyspex Mjolnir sensor system in Zackenberg, Greenland. Due to low sun, optimal observation geometry can be achieved by horizontally mounted system in a helicopter. The challening geometry could be solved analytically using the PARGE® geocoding capabilities.
